Dhaka: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina returned home on Tuesday afternoon wrapping up her three-day official visit to Cambodia.
A VVIP flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the Prime Minister and her entourage landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 4:32pm.
The Prime Minister went to Cambodia on December 3 at the invitation of her Cambodian counterpart Hun Sen.
During her visit, Sheikh Hasina held official talks with Hun Sen and witnessed the signing of 10 instruments -– one agreement and nine memorandums of understanding (MoUs) — to boost trade and investment relations between the two countries as well as enhance cooperation in various fields, including tourism, agriculture, civil aviation, ICT and technical education.
She also had a royal audience with the King of Cambodia, Norodom Sihamon.
Hasina joined a dinner programme hosted by the Bangladesh Ambassador to Cambodia. Members of the Bangladesh community living in Cambodia also attend the function.
While speaking at the Bangladesh-Cambodia Business Dialogue organised by the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce, Sheikh Hasina called upon the business community of Cambodia to explore all the avenues to do business in Bangladesh for the common prosperity of the two countries.
