In the same day, Shahidul was placed on a seven-day remand by a Dhaka court on Monday in a case filed against him under the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Act.
On Tuesday, Shahidul’s wife Rehnuma Ahmed filed a writ petition challenging the legality of the remand.
