Sports desk: Bangladesh will take on West Indies in the second T20I at Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground, Lauderhill in Florida of the USA on Sunday eying a win to keep the three-match series alive.

The match will begin at 6 am Bangladesh time.

Bangladesh conceded a seven-wicket defeat in the rain-interrupted first T20I and captain Shakib Al Hasan’s boys will need to hold their nerves to win the 2nd match to level the series.

Sent in to bat first in the first match, Bangladesh lost early wickets but were in a decent position at 95/5 at the halfway stage of their innings before scoring just 48/4 in the last 10 overs for a 1432/9 in 20 overs.

A rain interruption meant a DLS revision, which left the West Indies with a target of 91 from 11 overs.

Carlos Brathwaite’s side reached their destination scoring 93 for 3 in 9.1 overs with Andre Russell scoring 35* off 21 balls and Marlon Samuels hitting a 13-ball 26.

Bangladesh have only two wins against West Indies in this format in their seven encounters and a match had seen no results.
