Sports desk: Bangladesh beat Hong Kong by five wickets in their third and final group B match of the U19 Asia Cup today at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong.
The Tigers chased down 92 runs in just 11.2 overs with five wickets remaining. Wicket-keeper batsman Akbar Ali played 25-run inninigs while Mahmudul Hasan Joy was unbeaten at 32 runs.
Earlier, bowling first, Bangladesh bowled out Hong Kong for just 91 runs.
Rishad Hossain was the best of the Bangladeshi bowlers taking three wickets while Mrittunjoy Chowdhury and Rakibul Hasan bagged two wickets each.
