Zimbabwe stormed in Sylhet today with a 151-run victory against the home side while this victory is their first one away from home since 2001 before returning on Sunday (November 11) for the second Test.

Zimbabwe’s Williams and bowlers have fired Zimbabwe to memorable win as seventeen years have passed since Zimbabwe last won a Test match away from home. This is only their third Test win away from home.

Bangladesh were 169-all out in 63.1 overs in the Day- 4 play in Sylhet.

Zimbabwe all rounder Sikandar Raza has dismissed Liton Das with 23 runs off 75 after the opener stitched a 56-run stand for the first wicket with Imrul Kayes in the First session of the Day-4 play.

Bangladesh’s left-arm spinner Taijul Islam has bagged 11 wickets for the match as Zimbabwe were bowled out for 181 in their second innings on Day 3 of the 1st Test in Zimbabwe tour of Bangladesh at Sylhet.

They had managed decent enough runs in the second innings of the two-match Test series against the home side.

Without Tamim Iqbal and allrounder Shakib Bangladesh had to show the real resolve to chase this down but the visitors bowled Bangladesh out for 143 on the day.

Bangladesh have responded with 26 runs and now need 295 runs to win after the end of the Day 3, raising hopes of the historic chase when umpires decided no further play is possible due to bad light.
